the effects to sedate him wouldn’t have taken affect immediately. And with a 3 year-old toddler at this gorilla’s mercy, time was certainly of the essence.
Probably not as dramatic, King Kong and Harambe (who’s already been meem’d) met the same demise.
The Internet is not at all happy about his killing.
