Budding Model KENDALL JENNER Bullied At NYFW, Doesn't Want Sis KIM KARDASHIAN Coming To Her Shows

It’s not that she’s beside herself and now, too sexy for her famous family, but Kendall Jenner means business about distancing herself from her famous family’s reality in order to really be taken seriously as a high fashion model. The 18 year-old told Love magazine in a recent interview: “Kim was invited to a lot of the shows that I was in. She called me before and was like, ‘Hey, I was invited to the show-I just wanted to let you know. Do you want me to come?’ and I was like, ‘No.’ I want to be high fashion, I want to be taken seriously,” the teen asserted.

Obviously her big-sis understands and wants nothing but the best for baby sis and as well, is seeing to it that she gets nothing but the best where she can, when she can—however Kendall will allow.

Well it was certainly in the interest of Kendall’s full “clothesure” that she allow bro in law Kanye pull some strings for her, which lead to Kendall scoring a high-fashion Givenchy ad [all praises due to sir Kanye] whose close friendship with the company’s head designer: Ricardo Tisci put Kendall in good-graces by association in a “family” way.

Be that as it may, still, Kendall insists on walking tall against the name , the only thing that’s on her mind is who’s gon’ run this catwalk life.

Kendall who, at the advice of her friends in the fashion industry, remind her that her association with the Keeping Up With the Kardashian M-O could be very damaging to her M-O—d-e-l-i-n-g career.

But leaving behind the Kardashian brand and E! flagship is only half the battle that Kendall Jenner has to fight. Along with the rumored catfights that go in the secret world of modeling, Kendall Jenner’s gonna catch scratches twice as bad-considering that although she’s walking in on beauty and potential like everybody else; however, being apart of the Kardashian brand has put her ahead in places that caused her to be bullied at this year’s New York Fashion Week. Just so you know, for a whole week: New York Fashion Week is to models what the Grammy’s Awards statue is to a music artist what an Oscar is to an actress. It’s highly prestigious and all the blood, sweat, and tears that you’ve done goes into hoping to receive a nod of acknowledgment (at bare minimum) if anything.

Well, New York Fashion Week is a week that models are that “statue” for the world’s biggest designers premiering their fashion collections, lines, and designs [not yet on sale for the world].

Low and behold though, Kendall got a spot-and because of (behind the scene) became the target of bullying by having cigarette butts being put out in her drink by other models who didn’t think it was fair that they worked so hard to earn the spots on the catwalk only to have to share (or be replaced/traded by) Kendall.

Needless to say, she made it out of the jungle unscathed: imaginary book and apple atop her head while she strut her stuff down that catwalk, regardless (and made it back in one piece).

This year was not Kendall’s first NYFW however. She’s also modeled the runways of Diane Von Furstenberg, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs, and Donna Karan.
