L.A. Lakers’ Nick Young stepped into the paint—of the war between west-coast rapper Snoop Dogg and his Aussie-bred girlfriend: Iggy Azalea, that began when she posted an au naturale makeup-free pic of herself without hers.
The battle of the war and words between the two rappers went on from there.
No need to ignore the pink elephant in the room, but fact of the matter is, the rap world is having a hard time adjusting to Pink Friday female rapper [Nicki Minaj]’s reigning crown of fame being forced to fall back (just for a little while-at least until Azalea starts picking up her accolades she is slated to be picking up this award season).
For six years now, there had been no other female rapper in the game doing hip-pop in a way that Nicki Minaj had been doing it.

Although underground hip-hop is a place where Azalea probably couldn’t contend with Nicki [no, not necessarily because she’s white either-Eminem can surely contend with the best of the best and send some home to cuddle in fetal position] but were she [Iggy] fit in-she damned sure got in…And the results is shots fired all across in Internet over the power-shift.
So while Iggy is merely in a position for collecting all the accolades and praise she’s worked for and earned (and even to the extent of setting up personal fan mail boxes at all her shows for her fans to drop their letters in for replies back), Snoop elected to go another route: post insulting Internet memes of, about, and towards Iggy Azalea.
