“Confessions” singing heartthrob Usher, is confessing about having more on his plate than the perils of relationship woes with a woman. This time, he made a confession that concerns one of his two sons: 6 year-old Usher Raymond V, and Naviyd, 5; both conceived by, and born to his ex-wife and stylist: Tameka Foster.
In a candid interview with “Today,” the [NBC] “The Voice” judge spoke about his obsession with learning all that he can about the health condition: Type I diabetes.
Usher states that even at times on the show while cameras are on, and the judges are taking a break, you will most probably catch him: head down, face in a book-reading all that he can about trying to make sure his son is eating properly.
In the wake of mourning the loss of his grandmother and then learning his son was diagnosed with Type I diabetes, Usher said this past year has really taken a toll on him: “This year has been really one of my hardest years. I lost my grandmother, my son was diagnosed as being a type one diabetic… It has definitely been a difficult one for me, man.”
