Life is about to imitate art in reality: The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and the King of RnB are joining forces and striking up the bands for a tour.
Call it the clash of Capricorns or a musical match made in R&B heaven, either way: “It’s On” …we hear.
All details (such as actual dates, cities, and venues) aren’t in as yet but in an interview with Earthquake and DejaVu of WBLS 107.5; Kelly explained that he is currently working on the “Black Panties” tour however before he heads out, he will be [co-headlining?] with the Queen in 2014 for a tour tentatively called: “The King and Queen Tour.”
As of right now, Mary is still mum, so hopefully Kels didn’t jump the gun…but we will certainly be on the lookout of the confirmation, and tour schedule. And as soon as we get it, we at #OtherSideoftheFame will relay that information to you!
