Somewhere in this game or thing (among all the condescending and offending) former Cosby Show child star Raven Symone is believed to be still under her parent’s management and wing because this last public dig at the culture (by which she unidentifies), got her daddy called on her.

Christopher B. Pearman, Raven’s biological dad and manager (through ‘til the time around age 21-after she secured management from other disinterested parties), wanted to let the record state that although he, too, may be disinterested in Raven Symone’s statement(s)-it can’t be denied that his involvement and rearing and steering her career since childhood is what made her successful (undeniably). And with that said, “Chris B” does not think her statements prejudicial statements prejudice his book [geared towards parents to help teach them reach and teach their very own children to achieve and believe].

He explained (via a Facebook post) “A woman wrote to me tonight and said she couldn’t support my book because of the words of my daughter. What she fails to realize is that my book is about teaching your child to believe and achieve. Raven has achieved incredible success, and this cannot be denied!” Raven’s dad explained.

He adds: “Children grow up and become influenced by many things, situations and people. I certainly don’t agree with what she said….but she is damn near thirty years old. She’s a grown ass woman making grown ass mistakes. We all have been guilty of this / Her Mother and I Love her Very much and will always support her and have her back. Even if sometimes……….she says some dumb S#%T!”
Here’s the statement in its entirety:

To My Dear Friends,

There has been much talk today about my daughters comments on her show The View. People have been hitting me up all night questioning me about her remarks. Let me say this……I haven’t managed Ravens career in over 10 years. This woman is grown, has her own management team, Raven Symone and her dadhas her own opinions, right or wrong, and is responsible for her own words and actions. A woman wrote to me tonight and said she couldn’t support my book because of the words of my daughter. What she fails to realize is that my book is about teaching your child to believe and achieve. Raven has achieved incredible success, and this cannot be denied!

Children grow up and become influenced by many things, situations and people. I certainly don’t agree with what she said….but she is damn near thirty years old. She’s a grown ass woman making grown ass mistakes. We all have been guilty of this.

I did my best as her father, mentor and career manager. I believe I did a Wonderful job. Aside from this inexcusable gaffe, her 29 years in the entertainment industry hasbeen quite successful, for there have been only an Elite Few Child Stars to last this long and have little to no controversy. For this, I am Very Proud!Raven Symone and her mom and dad

Raven is a really Beautiful, Sweethearted, Human Being.I should know. Her Mother and I Love her Very much and will always support her and have her back. Even if sometimes……….she says some dumb S#%T!

We gotta admit, her dad does have a point in saying “children grow up and become influenced by many things, situations and people.”

Raven Symone natural

So if you could gaze into the future, who’da thunk Raven Symone’s condescending views on/against/not with her very own culture would be very much apart of her person after cocooning from a child star from the humble beginnings of her career being such that she turns over to all praises being due to (African American) Bill Cosby:

…or, the little known fact that her first record and footprint was made possible by (African American) recording artist Missy Elliott (yes, around the 2:00 minute mark, that IS Missy you hear rapping, and legend has it there was some controversy or discrimination about her weight or something back then–with regard to her being in the video rapping her own verse…)

…and too, where too (before Disney) she played the African American child of comedian-actress/Wayan’s discovered T’keyah Crystal Keymáh (In Living Color).

side eyes her name …no…Raven Symone would not hire her either…

Although we don’t know where, when, or what (if anything) happened as being the underlying reason for Raven Symone’s condescending and offensive stances, but it would be safe to say that something happened or well…just, IS (where her person or as far as she’s concerned).
