The rapper was just there—in Inglewood [California] smack dead in the hood, giving out something to the tune of 1500 turkeys to families in need for Thanksgiving this 2015 season.
“This is a very big help for not only myself, but for about a thousand people,” -resident Xiomara Payan.
According the The Associated Press, the L.A rooted, grounded rap artist spoke with Mayor Butts (last year) asking what he could do to give back to the community-which resulted in a giveaway of 800 turkeys last year, according to KNBC-TV.
This year marks the spot for Dogg’s 2nd year in the giveaway which, according to The Good News Network, will be an annual tradition for years to come.
