Rosie O’Donnell is returning to “The View”…………… for a day—as a guest.
If you remember, O’Donnell had a less than stellar short stint on the show as a co-host but obviously, there’s no bad blood and she’s welcome back to the table.
On Monday, the ladies announced that Rosie will bring her heavy hand and heavy-handed opinion to join them on February 7, 2014. 
I’m assuming however, that things will go light and well as, it’s been seven years since Rosie’s rocky departure whereby after leaving, it was reported that she had experienced something akin the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder—much to Barbara Walters’ resentment (after finding out that O’Donnell spoke of the show as such, and in such a negative light).
Now seven years past-and Walters stated that she had great affection for Rosie and referred to her as a “lively and engaging [guest]…” who is much apart of the show’s history (and obviously welcome back as a guest with open arms).
This is Walters’ last season on the show and what a better way to extend an olive branch to Rosie.
