The interesting part about this story is that not only is she a Thanksgiving baby who, reportedly was before somewhere around the past 24-36 hours time that she was found [at 4 p.m. Friday], but rather than the typical scenario like such e.g: (mom gives birth in some random place and abandons baby), this baby was actually born at a medical facility and her being removed from the facility and placed out here like such is being investigated as a crime.
Authorities said that the person responsible is facing attempted murder and child endangering charges and anyone with any information about the abandonment and endangerment of this child is asking to contact the LASD Special Victims Bureau at 1-877-710-5273. As well, it is strongly urged that if you or anyone you know is in a difficult predicament in which a child is birthed and for whatever reason can’t be kept, under the Safe Haven program, laws in most states make it possible without incident, questions or arrest, that any hospital or medical facility (or even fire station) can take that child from your hand to theirs and you are free to walk away if you feel you need to.
