Art is not exactly imitating life for Naya Rivera and everything is all but “glee” in the Glee star’s world here lately.
For the past few weeks in the world of social media, it had been reported that the engagement of she and rapper Big Sean was officially off [indefinitely]. Reasons reported had gone from everything being [that] she was far too controlling to one of the two claiming the other stole jewelry [or whatever].
Reps for Big Sean made public, the following [statement]: “After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.”
Bottom line: it’s a wrap for the 26 year-old rapper and Rivera, 27.
In a little something like art imitating life, on the show, Rivera’s catty cheerleading character Santana will be serenading “sayonara,” “au revoir,” “arrivederci,” “despedida” FOH, (or “peace”)-however do you want it.
After months of heated tension between she and co (/slash) main star: Lea Michele, 27; sources say Naya Rivera’s contract will not be renewed with the FOX musical series [“Glee”], after this season. It’s being reported that Rivera (quote) “went off” (unquote) during a verbal altercation with the show’s producers yet, it’s being dually notated that her wrangles and vendetta with costar Michele aren’t to blame [for her contract for season number six not being renewed].
Rivera has been written out of the show’s finale and her trailer removed from the television studio’s lot. As well, she has been noticeably absent for recent promos for the show. Although it’s being said Naya complains that Michele holds up filming, it is also being said that she [Naya Rivera] is jealous that Lea Michele is the main star and the two reported talk terribly behind one another’s backs.
Although the doors are slammed on Rivera’s face, Michele will still be returning.
Reps for Rivera have not responded to these reports, as yet.
Of course, TMZ magically appeared doing their typical celebrity ambush-finding how the whereabouts of fellow Glee co-star Jane Lynch, who didn’t have much to offer on the situation:
