Kim Kardashian, 33, mentioned just last week in an interview with Today Show’s Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, that her daughter North had mastered her own signature pose at the ripe old age of 13 months already: “Every time there is a camera out and paparazzi, she does this either mean angry Kanye face or a pose–she’ll be cracking up and then the second the camera comes on she….” [Kim demonstrated the pose.]
Well she may be barely walking and has yet to understand direction as yet, but for North West (a daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West) now is just a good a time as any to strike a pose and vogue. Now, we get to see this pose (that Kim was speaking about) under lights, cameras, and coming to a newsstand near you this fall.
Nori made her modeling debut in the fall issue of CR Fashion Book wearing a Chanel brooch pinned to a double-breasted sweater while wearing Lorraine Schwartz diamond studs. She pierced out to her left-towards the light (having no idea, care, or concern for the expensive petite Chanel bag lying atop her 13 month-old lap: fingers somewhat clutching the strap of the handbag).
Although they fancy themselves a fashionister and fashionista, the style team for the magazine took creative control of the shoot. As reported, Nori was styled by Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfield and photographed by Michael Avedon.
In the black and white photograph with a solid background, just to the left of the photograph a caption reads: “North West. The Future” with a quote by designer Karl Lagerfeld expressing Nori’s current situation (that although she can’t speak to say just yet), is manifesting whether she wants to, cares, or not: “It’s never too early to care about fashion!”
