A month or so ago, when Nicki Minaj posted this pic of her left hand adorned with a stunning 15-carat ring on its ring finger, the swarm of suppositions took a walk down an isle of their own: “Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are engaged!”
Nothing can be further from the truth as, the assumption was so great that even the “Amen” rapper’s grandmother (who he says believes everything she sees on TV) thought he was headed for the alter.
As far as Nicki is concerned, although she is concerned with the sanctity of marriage and family; she does have some trepidation (and worries):
“I’m afraid I’ll become so consumed with work that I’ll forget to live my personal life to the fullest,” she said in an interview.
“If I’m done with my fifth album and I don’t have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman, because I feel like I was put here to be a mother. I have definitely put off the wife thing because I don’t want people in my business. I’d rather not do anything that’s going to be on paper but I definitely will be married before I have my baby. I want to make sure I do it in that order. I’ve always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head.”
Well from the looks of things, the femcee has put her mic down for now and the action in her life right now is under keygrips’ lights and camera.
As we reported to you before, Minaj was set to have a role in the popular, urban “Barbershop” movie.
Our sources stated filming was to begin in February 2016, but as with her own personal time limit on producing kids, Nicki’s life and schedule is such that production had better get underway or else!
Say no more though, because she was caught on camera in Atlanta today-May 27, 2015 filming on the set of “Barbershop 3!”
