Lauryn Hill certainly kept the momentum going while pumping the brakes on rumors about her no-show at this past Monday’s Grammy’s (where she was said to have stood singer The Weekend up live on stage at the live, televised program).
Well unannounced and unpublicized, and in true class, style and showmanship; Ms. Hill and The Weeknd had their day this past Friday on the Jimmy Fallon Show singing “In The Night”-the very same song to two were going to sing on music’s biggest night-the Grammy’s [60th] award show live telecast.
Although at introducing The Weekend (who, at first come out by himself to perform), Jimmy Fallon announced [him] as the two 2x Grammy winning artist (who had won Grammy’s just a few days prior to this Friday, February 19, 2016), it seems like he would (too) have announced the 5x Grammy winning (Hill) in the same breath.
But that’s just it: her In The Night performance with The Weeknd was the element surprise in deed, indeed.
