LENA DUNHAM’s Social Media Diss & How #BlackGirlMagic Cast A Spell on EMMY Night + Are We Fake and Fear When Sh/t Gets Real?

am too, writing my say on this Nancy Lee Grahn situation and somethings that (thanks to the world of social media providing lenses into yet, intertwining the real and creative worlds) we ALL need to understand. WE meaning:

  • “People of color”
  • “Black people”/African American people
  • White people

…need to understand about:

  • “Industry” v. organizations v companies
  • social media scorn via “black girl unity” v. behind the pixels of social media “black girl” drama and enmity
  • Right (or civil right) v. privilege
  • Hollywood v. real life
  • Totem-pole society as it relates to (and doesn’t relate to) Viola Davis’ speech
  • …and of course, a positive light on the remaining winners and not so serious things that happened on this remarkable night and without a shadow of the abovementioned dark or doubt, was remarked!

#Stay tuned

…(even my “#Staytuned” ‘s that need tending to are not forgotten but still, stay tuned and please bare with my “multi duty.” I’m working to change that. 🙂
