Think you’re going to disrespect Lauryn Hill when she takes the stage, think again—and take a hike.
The songbird was set to perform at Chicago’s House of Blue just a couple of days ago and was about an hour behind schedule and audience member clapped at Ms. Hill by cursing at her and “making rude gestures.”
The Killing Me Softly singer took some time out to do just that, by responding: “When I get up on this stage, don’t be disrespecting me… Seriously, you can go. Please refund… A little patience is too much. It’s alright, you can go, I would prefer that. You’re going to mess up the night for the rest of these people… We’ll get your money refunded and you can go. I don’t play that !….I’m alright with that… I don’t need to win you over, you don’t need to win me over… I do this because I love it, not because I owe you anything, understand that?… You can say whatever you want t…get on your blogs….your tweets…I don’t give a rat’s a$$. I do this because I love it. Give this man his money back.”
