The reason I became a rapper -Lady Leshurr (on Eminem)
She’s surely coming through and whether you know her or abhor her, the Vogue offices and fashion world adores her, and the U.K. supports her.
The ones really making noise (in the right ways and with the right people) are typically moving silently…don’t sleep.
Lady Leshurr and Timbaland
She’s not a household name or popular (here in the U.S) as yet, but we’ve already told yous about rising rap star Lady Leshurr and while her voice is seemingly drowned out and shuffled to the back for now, she’s certainly coming through.
Invited and welcomed onto the scene originally to be Nicki Minaj’s competition and problem, Lady Leshurr (being sure of her own talent as an individual) declined the invite on such terms and fell back to where she hailed: in the U.K.
Still, nothing stopped her go as, not only is she sliding through the cracks and [seemingly] closed doors of female rap, designer Alexander Wang (who celebrated his 10th anniversary during this weeks NYFW with his bold Spring 2016 show) invited Lady Leshurr’s voice to send tongues wagging over Wang when the 26 year-old rapper’s track spit the kind of fire to match Wang’s hot digs [that] adorned the models walking the catwalk to the Brit’s hit: “Queen’s Speech 3.”
