Sitting in the window sill droppin’ all that tea and Internet me-me fame must’ve gone to Kermit’s legs and rendered him as single as “i-i” as, he’s leaping on to other lillypads in love and life, without Miss Piggy.
It’s sad that not even such an old school felt-skinned couple can survive these changes in time despite whatever was once felt before.
His homies over at Sesame Street are even weighing in on this all—just like the change in time.
Gone are the days when it was family show and the singing was all about love and family :/

Miss Piggy, in all her known fabulousness, left this statement:
“After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Kermit the Frog and moi have made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship. We will continue to work together on television (The Muppets/Tuesdays 8 p.m, this fall on ABC) and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe. However, our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter…unless we get the right offer. Thank you for your understanding.”
The Muppets premieres Tuesday, Sept. 22, on ABC.
