Shock Jock Howard Stern has long been known for having no filter longgggggg before #nofilter became an Internet buzzword-hence the moniker: Shock Jock.
Many have caught low blows from Sterns’ toilet tongue, and untimely quips and slips but who’da thunk he would take a shot at Sam Smith who, in all his British splendor seems SO very kind?
‘Harsh’ is a complete understatement when describing / quoting what he said about Sam-it even hurt me! I hate for people to pick on seemingly very kind people. It’s just not worth the reaction–whatever reaction you are soliciting and going for.
During a radio countdown on Sterns’ Sirius XM channel he was quoted as having said:
“You know what I like about the guy, he’s an ugly mother f*****, he’s fat, and I love it…Is he gay? He looks gay to me, not that anybody looks gay…but he does seem a feminine.”
He continued:
“I like that he’s chubby and gay, that’s why I love him. He’s one of those guys. He’s really good, but I feel like that will be his only hit song.”
He then continued with a back-handed compliment:
“And speaking about his latest hit, ‘I Know I’m Not the Only One’-that’s how good that song is, he’s fat and he’s gay and little girls worship him, that’s when you know you have a good song and you have a good voice.”
Wow. Just wow. That was so mean 🙁
Sure, I could go into some Freudian analysis about Sterns’ obvious crush on the cutie…and this being nothing more than that scenario of the little boy on the playground who has a crush on the cutie but doesn’t know how to deal with it..(or his thoughts and the pitter-patter of his heart), so he punches the cutie and calls the cutie “ugly” and “fat” instead.

But, oh well. Don’t mind my psychoanalyzing it all..
At any rate.
Obviously, word got back to the cutie (Sam) who, via Twitter, said more-with less:
