About Last Night: FAITH EVANS Publicly Buries the Ratchet w/Rapper LIL’ KIM + DIDDY, SNOOP, KANYE, LOX, FAITH & More Perform at MSG Theatre

“Shall I proceed?”

“Yes indeed!” -Lil’ Kim

faithevanslilkimR&B Singer Faith Evans did something totally unexpected: Buried the ratchet hatchet w/rapper Lil’ Kim [that Kim had with her or whatever]…fact is: it’s officially buried.Aaliyah_Faith_Lil kim

During last nights epic show at the MSG Theatre where rapper Snoop and music/fashion mogul P. Diddy performed and held a star-studded show where (along with Kim, Snoop, and Faith) Kanye, Keyshia Cole, Big Sean, Lox w/Puff, Snoop w/Dr. Dre and more performed:

…when rapper Lil’ Kim took to the stage, Faith Evans took a moment and posted this to her Instagram account:

arrow-upWhy does this mean anything? Because as 90s rap history would have it-once upon the time, there was “beef”…

…beef that was cooked between the two P. Diddy-associated artists (Faith Evans and Lil Kim) as rap impresario and slain rapper Notorious B.I.G once dated/had a personal + professional relationship with Lil’ Kim and too, was married to the silky-voiced singer Faith Evans.

The discrepancy and debate (which too, depends on who you ask) all revolved around the timing [that] B.I.G dated, then married Faith (2 weeks after meeting her) and while having had a more than professional dealings with Lil’ Kim.

Well 2015 now upon us and a century-stone happened: the first to bury the ratchet hatchet publicly is Faith Evans:

What a sight to behold!

Another sight to behold but noticeably absent from this near Bad-Boy reunion of sorts was non-other than the Queen of Hip Hop Soul: Mary J. Blige. Although since her days of being associated with all the above, she had gotten the Diane Warren R&B rendition wash-down, and switched up her image somewhat; you still can’t front on this jam. It would have been nice to see she and Kim rock this for old times sake!

Regardless, the show went on, and all took to the stage to sing their tribute to Notorious B.I.G who, although didn’t make it to be at Puff’s major event, but was there in spirit:
