Tonight marks one of Saturday Night Live’s most monumental shows for more than one reason.
After SNL cast mate Maya Rudolph left the sketch comedy over six years ago, there hadn’t been a black female cast member in place of her until now.

The girl who everybody has their eyes on is non other than Sasheer Zamata who will make her cast-member debut on the show tonight and the world will be watching intently.
Additionally, rapper Drake (slash) self-proclaimed: “Light skinned Keith Sweat,” who although has appeared on the sketch comedy; tonight will be a first for him as well: He will be on double-duty as both host and musical guest.
Having said all that, it is safe to say that being that this is SNL’s first new show since the start of the new year (in addition to Zamata and Drake’s appearances tonight) cherries are definitely being broken…
