Cleveland Women Held Captive for Over Ten Years Demand JOAN RIVERS’ Apology

Well, some of us would say that you haven’t “arrived” until you’ve been insulted, dissed, evicted, or sued by comedian Joan Rivers who, if you remember last we told you, insulted Kim Kardashian at such bad timing that it forced her team to get scrapping for a new guest star co-host [because Khloe Kardashian pulled out of a fashion segment with Rivers due to Joan’s spoof of Kim and Ray J………with Ray J ].

They say at some point in time in those golden years you just kinda get too old to care. I guess that’s true with Joan Rivers who, for the record, never (if ever) offers an apology for her Freudian slips of the tongue.

Her most latest faux pas came on live television when visiting NBC’s “Today” show this past Tuesday where she was complaining about she and her daughter Melissa’s living arrangements (on their reality show) and Joan blurted out: “Those women in the basement in Cleveland had more space.”

While some would join hands in unison, clap, and agree that even if you have never walked the red carpet, once you’ve been insulted or dissed by Joan Rivers, you have officially made it. But two of the four women kidnapped and held by Ariel Castro in the Cleveland basement for over a decade, are in search of the humor in  Joan’s comment.

Yesterday, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus referred to Rivers’ remarks as “hurtful” and “shocking,” and the comment was “a new low,” that warrants an apology [of the red carpet kind].

Rivers’ reps haven’t responded to any messages seeking the apology.
