CHARMAYNE ‘Maxee’ MAXWELL – of Michael Jackson’s MJJ Label’s 1st Girl Group: BROWNSTONE Dead at 45

 

CharmayneMaxwell1/3rd of the 90s R&B girl group “Brownstone” passed away just hours ago: Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell.

Maxwell (along with Nicci Gilbert and Tiesha Lott Brown) rose to R&B success almost immediately.

Known for their hit singles (on Michael Jackson’s MJJ record label) “Five Miles to Empty” and the 1995 Grammy winning “If You Love Me”

The cause of Charmayne’s death is literally traveling through the grapevine, with it being rumored she fell. Others are saying suicide-attributing this old tweet to that rumor:
