While Twitter celebrates #ThrowBackThursday, the Obama administration (and me) are having a #ThrowUpThursday of sorts-all praises damning due to a security breach (hacking) of the Interior Department and the employee records of the Office of Personnel Management.
The Office of Personnel Management is the human resources department for the Federal Government and too, issues security clearances for all employees.
According to officials (who chose not to be identified) the breach could potentially effect every federal agency.
Meanwhile, the Obama administration is assessing the impact while The White House is considering giving a public announcement about the situation tonight or tomorrow morning.
