With news of the NFL considering having artists pay to perform their sets on the biggest night of the year: Super Bowl Half-Time (which usually lasts about 15 minutes per performer), Beyonce is making sure she is getting it in tonight at MTV’s VMA’s before Viacom and MTV get any bright ideas to follow suit.
We’ve already reported to you that Beyonce would be performing tonight at one of music’s biggest award shows: MTV’s Video Music Awards. Well, we’ve got more news for you:
Beyonce’s set will last about 15 minutes and she is rumored to be performing a medley of her entire self-titled visual album (spontaneously released in December 2013).
The alleged itinerary/song list was posted by a Twitter follower which include the following:
2. “Haunted/”Pretty Hurts” Transition
4. “No Angel”
7. “Drunk In Love”
She is the recipient of tonight’s biggest award: The Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award which has also been given to the likes of Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Madonna, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beastie Boys, and of course: the late Michael Jackson himself.
I’d say…Beyonce has officially arrived, EARNED IT, and has worked hard for her Moment for Life moment:
Gold star for Beyonce!
The VMA’s will air tonight at 9 p.m. EST live from The Forum located in Inglewood, California on the cable network MTV (obviously).
