Once upon a time [2007] singer Ciara Princess Harris sang a song called “Like A Boy” in which she expressed, hypothetically, what it would be like for a ‘boy’ if the tables were turned and girls did the things to guys, that guys did to girls.
What if I?…
Had a thing on the side?
Made ya cry?
Would the rules change up?…
Or would they still apply?…
If I played you like a toy?…
Sometimes I wish I could act like a boy
Since then Ciara’s hypothetical fairytale turned real-life changed as such that although she met a man, got engaged to 
him and bore his child; that didn’t mean that their fairytale wasn’t without incident (and nightmares).
Talkin’ bout a 7 year itch…
During her pregnancy, [2014] rapper: Future, had been in the news for his indiscretions with the ladies and reportedly his female stylist which caused a riff within the union.
Ciara-keeping the focus on bonding with family, her adorable little fatty Arbuckle, butterball baby boy: Future Jr.

She’s back now with a new single (ironically) with the same premise (sort of)—in a song called “ I Bet,” from her forthcoming album titled “Jackie”
In the song, like, “Like a Boy” [about a man, now] she expresses:
I bet you start loving me
As soon as I start loving someone else

I bet you start needing me
As soon as you see me with someone else
Somebody other than you

All things considered, whether Ciara has a backup plan for a relationship remains to be seen (or not), but although she’s doing just fine as a singer, still, she has quite the backup plan and quite the future should she decide she no longer wishes to sing.
Just recently, the singer was shot moonlighting at her other job awaiting her in the far away, or near future: modeling!
