NICKI MINAJ Unfollows Some of Her Fans for Leaking Old Footage to be Mean-Spirited

Are we still referring to Nicki Minaj as “Barbie” or no?

Well, either way, the HBIC (Head Barb in Charge) is a bit perturbed at her Barbs and Ken’s who ride shotgun with her and at this point-was mad enough to point one at them (or at least pop their heads off).

According to reports, Nicki kindly unfollowed some of her Twitter followers [Barbs, and Ken’s] because they did the proverbial no-no that

At any rate.

Well, it was all but “love” when some of her “fans” took to Twitter and decided to get cute and dig up some old footage Nicki doing (what pays her now): in rehearsal-preparing her for the dream.

Although that seems harmless and what a delight it is to see some of our faves in rare form, the problem was-the video was reportedly thrown out there in [a mean-spirited] effort to show the world Nicki’s “then” body versus her “now” body.

Well, in the words of Nick herself:

“Worried ’bout if my butt’s fake
Worry ’bout yall niggas- us straight”

…and well, she is “straight” [in life] already, yo-so…have at poking fun and the rapper, I guess-she has bigger fish to fry.

Having just recently lost her best friend and long time boyfriend, she released her greatly anticipated album Pink Print

…and shortly thereafter; dropped 16-minutes of footage in a mini-movie called “The Pink Print Movie.”

As well, she’ll be gracing the cover of Rolling Stones’ January 2015 issue.

Did a hot Vogue Italia spread.

And just recently wrapped a hot photo shoot (shot by Francesco Carrozini) for designer Robert Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2015 campaign who, despite the swipes-the curves are paying off.

Known for his signature, long sexy dresses that have been worn across many-a-red carpets, Cavalli, himself, said about the rapper:

“I chose Nicki Minaj because she embodies the exuberant and modern femininity of the Cavalli woman,” the designer said. “In recent years we have become accustomed to women castigated in clothes that hide their body shapes. With this campaign, I wanted to send a strong counter-trend message. I wanted a sensual woman who is aware of her body, who is not afraid to show her curves, rather she make them as a strength.”

Well.

The unfortunate part about the fame game (especially with the invention of the Internet and social media) the unpretty part behind all the glam is that you just can’t escape the parts of the humble beginnings that we’d all love to bury.
